Join us for Marriage Prep 101 and visit beautiful Half Moon bay for a romantic, inspiring weekend at the Historic Train Depot – just minutes from the ocean!
Suggested Weekend Schedule:
Your workshop weekend will offer time for play as well as learning. To make a weekend out of it, consider arriving Friday evening for a dinner out. At the latest, plan to arrive in Half Moon Bay by Saturday morning.
On Saturday morning the workshop will start at 10 AM, giving you plenty of time to arrive and get settled. We will serve a delicious catered lunch that afternoon followed by a short break. After lunch, many couples like to stroll on the grounds of the Historic Train Depot, or at the nearby beach. Then come back for the remaining afternoon session of the workshop.
The workshop ends that day at 5:00 PM, giving you the evening to further explore Half Moon Bay. Beautiful beaches, peaceful serenity and great restaurants await you.
Dinner on Saturday night at any of the amazing restaurants in Half Moon Bay will be perfect. If you prefer to stay nearby, try the Miramar Beach Restaurant for a waterfront spot. Miramar Beach Restaurant offers a stunning view of the sun setting over the ocean, as well as delicious options of steak and seafood. The Coastal Trail is in front of the restaurant where you can walk for miles along the coast. We strongly recommend you make reservations in advance for Miramar Beach Restaurant or any other popular Half Moon Bay restaurants. Sam’s Chowderhouse is also a popular spot.
Sunday morning return to the workshop for a 9 AM start, where we will have a continental breakfast waiting for you. The workshop will end at 1 PM, giving you plenty more time to enjoy the area. If you choose to stay, head down to Pillar Point for a refreshing walk around the Bay. Rent a kayak, see the local fisherman in action on the piers and get a bite to eat at one of the many seafood restaurants that Pillar Point has to offer. As another wonderful option, Sea Horse Ranch offers horseback riding on the beach! We highly recommend making reservations in advance.
Contact us if you would like personal recommendations for hotels (or camp grounds if you are adventurous) and restaurants. We hope you enjoy a wonderful workshop weekend in beautiful Half Moon Bay.
