We would like to introduce Marriage Prep 101, a skill-based, non-religious relationship workshop in San Francisco that is NOT your parents' version of marriage prep. We are a husband and wife team who are also licensed psychologists in San Francisco. We have been teaching Marriage Prep 101 for the last eight years, and have taught over 1000 couples how to build the best relationship possible. Our 10 hour workshop (Friday night and all day Saturday) has been described as informative, proactive, practical, inspiring and fun!

We have been voted "Best of the Bay" by the SF Bay Guardian four years in a row for "The Best Couples Counselor" and "Best Wedding Gift Not Listed on the Registry". Why take a Marriage Prep workshop from us? We are a heterosexual couple with many gay and lesbian colleagues, friends and clients. We are sensitive, accepting, compassionate and interested in helping gay, lesbian and bisexual couples create successful relationships. We have always supported same sex marriage in a national coalition of marriage educators, and we are delighted that California has finally legalized same sex marriage.

From the beginning of Marriage Prep 101, we have welcomed same sex couples into our workshop, and they have all reported it be extremely helpful. About 95% of what we teach is relevant to same sex couples. Most people want the same things from their committed relationships: love, friendship, passion, commitment, intimacy, companionship, fun, support and understanding.

We focus on compatibilities and expectations, dealing with family of origin and personality issues, enhancing communication and building conflict resolution skills, and enhancing intimacy and sexuality. We will teach you specific skills, tips, tools, and strategies that you can integrate into your relationship immediately. Marriage Prep 101 is really a foundation class in relationships. In 10 hours, we will give you a foundation that you can build a customized version of the relationship that is right for you. Most people want the same things from their committed relationship: love, passion, friendship, intimacy, companionship, fun, respect, understanding and support. We
help all couples highlight the positives in their relationships and work on their challenges.
